Thailand: Thai Rak Thai Party Website Restored

After a day of inaccessibility on Oct. 2, the website of the Thai Rak Thai party (www.thairakthai.or.th) was back online on Oct. 3. According to Bangkok's The Nation, the restored website "plays up the resignation letter of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra as party leader." However, the website www.thaksin.com, "which Thaksin used to receive emails and comments from his supporters and to promote himself and his party's policies" remains unavailable.
